We've had glorious sunshine and warmer than usual temperatures. There are still flowers blooming in my garden and the leaves on the trees are just starting to change into their autumn finery!

So in words and photos, here are a random assortment of things I saw this week ...
- Driving though the countryside, I saw the most remarkable skies, seemingly stretching on forever and filled with towering mountains of cloud, like alpine turrets fading into an ice blue sky.
- Dappled sunlight glinting on puddles, filled with fallen leaves - a beautiful sight.
- My mans big beautiful hands gesticulating so expressively as he talked.
- A beautiful narrowboat gliding under a bridge with the sun shining on its orange roof a real contrast with the dark water underneath.
- A Bluetit sitting on my windowsill and pecking at the window while looking straight at me.
- An elderly lady looking stunning with her sleek and shiny pure white hair cut into a sharp bob. She was wearing an amazing black and white checked cape and looked so stylish and original she was turning heads and she waited to cross the road.
Two of my cats enjoying the autumn sunshine. Ms Mitz (mother) in the background and Bina (daughter) in front. I love the feel of warm purring cats! :-)
I almost had my breath taken away by the beautiful glowing colour of this Acer in my garden, WOW!

What a glorious array of things you've seen here, a pleasure to read and see, Mitz and Bina and the acer, I must really get my camera and capture some loveliness too, just wonderful xx
I don't own a camera and am green with envy over the Acer and the blue bowl of fruit. These are poems in the making. Wonderful,
Elizabeth

The only good thing about Autumn in my book, is the colours :-)
Lovely images and what a nice idea "I Saw Sunday' is. I often feel I am walking around in a dream half the time, stopping and taking time to notice things around one is such a great idea.
Hi Diane, good to see you here! :-)
Yes, the Autumn colours are amazing! ...and would you believe that the most beautiful display I have seen so far this year, are the wonderful trees surrounding Tesco's car park.
It would be great if you could come and share one of your great photo's with us one week on I Saw Sunday.
