"This morning wears mist like a shawl, a veil to disguise the swelling of the fresh green buds. Today, I can only imagine the traces of Spring laying swaddled in the fine gauze that March has casually thrown over her shoulders and wrapped around her still bare bones."- My Name Is ZING
But by yesterday we had the most glorious sunshine that drew us all out into the garden.
It looked like Spring had well and truly announced itself. The sunshine was like a drug and I soon felt quite intoxicated ... and achy too!
We are now at one of the balance points of the years - the Spring Equinox. So I wish you all balance and Sunshine!
I hope you enjoy the photos. . .
"Today the Sun shone huge sweeping golden beams, filling my room
and leaving no space for me inside. I put on my shoes and stepped outside,
just in time to join Spring as she arrived in my garden." - My Name is ZING

The other two were enjoying the sunshine, asleep in their cat run
(the big Aviary that you can see in the photo below.)

energy of the earth, I smile at my secateurs." - My Name is ZING

Thought of the week
"In order to cause a shadow to disappear,
you must shine light on it." - Shakti Gawain
There was a new midweek 'confession' this week. I'd love to know what you thought of 'the hand'? Are you one of the 99 percent? or are you in the 1 percent like me?
(So far it looks like my 99 percent theory is holding up!) :-)
I hope your week has been a good one. x

I loved the picture of Bina and your garden looks gorgeous. The picture with the catarun in looks almost oriental ... wonderful!
Hey Deborah, I took lots of photos, it was tricky picking just a few to post.
(I love 'catarun' lol - Like Crackers 'catagravy'. ;-))
It is lovely when the sun shines and your garden really is reflecting spring.
Bina is very pretty. Is there Burmese blood in there?
Love the photos. They make me yearn, lean in to see more signs of spring. You must be an entire month ahead of us here. Thanks for the hope they bring,
Elizabeth
Oh no! Now I'm feeling guilty that I haven't got earth under my fingernails! Lovely spring pictures.
Your photos tell me spring is here! I want to go to the garden today, just to see.....
What heavenly photos!
Oh, your gardening photos made me feel happy! Forsythias always make me happy - the earliest harginger of spring, here. Your garden looks wonderful, Susannah.
Thanks everyone for dropping in. It is good to see you all! We have had another wonderful warm spring like day here today too! I am enjoying it while it lasts. :-)
Jabblog, I am not too sure of Bina's heritage, her Mum was a younf feral cat we tamed (and kept her kittens too) so we have no idea who the father is!
If you are interested, you can read about her mother and hear the story at my other blog here - http://myincrediblejoy.blogspot.com/2010/05/about-cat-ms-mitz.html
Lovely photos, Susannah.
When the Forsythia was in bloom I always knew it was Spring.
Good to see you Paul. :-)
Beautiful! Just looking at the pictures made me crave Spring sooo badly! Haha, great Blog :)
