"Up before dawn. Darkness wanted company so I came and sat with it a while in the gentle
and heavy silence. And as the pale pink light began to seep across the sky it let go of
my hand and slipped away without a word." - My Name is Zing
I have been sitting at my desk watching as the strong wind pushes against the fence outside. A little bird lands and a sudden gust pushes him from his perch and he takes flight again. It must be nice to have wings.
I can hear the wind whistling down the chimney, such eerie noises. One minute an express train, the next unsettling screams. The wind has found its voice today.
It has been a strange week for me... it has had a strange undercurrent, a feeling that something is shifting, moving around in the shadows. Nothing solid, nothing I can put my finger on, just a note playing there in the background.
I have been dreaming lots too, waking up with collage like snippets that disappear as soon as they feel the focus of my attention upon them. But they leave behind the stains of their presence, lingering feelings that float around in my atmosphere until the day replaces them with other things.
Times like this can feel as though you are peering through a mist, nothing is clear cut, it is all nuance. But I recognise that these are potent and fertile times and only feel troublesome if you swim against the tide. So until the tide turns again I have plunged into the creative waters. I am feeling the urge to create images again and I have been writing too (two poems today). I shall swim with the current.

I am sure I will be back in full colour again next week. :-)
Thought of the week"Patience is also a form of action." - Auguste Rodin
I took these photo's of branches silhouetted against the sky - I thought they were beautiful!
I am linking this post to week 21 of I Saw Sunday
