Cornflowers at its feet, piercing the grey morning with colour.
Burgeoning nature bursting from the confines of the brick edged beds.
A riot of green energy, vital, vibrant, alive. I observe from my kitchen window,
mesmerized by it seemingly growing before my eyes
. . . behind me the kettle boils."

Open eyes that draw down the bee,
It begins again.
Beautiful whites, Susannah.
Beautiful pictures, wonderful words. I envy you the view.
Elizabeth
That's beautiful Harry! thank you. :-)
Elizabeth, I really appreciate my view! Even more so this year.
Every year I have cut this clematis hard back on the advice of my Mother, this year I left it! It is magnificent, it is just smothered with blooms and covers the whole fence.
I am sure there is a lesson in there somewhere. :-)
Good to see you. x
Beautiful clematis flowers.
Thanks earlybird. :-)

Hi Jae! It is really good to see you. :-)
No this blog has been like this for a while, I think you are thinking of my other blog 'Panopticulated' where we used to meet up on the prompt writing sites.
It is good to see that you have found your way here. I hope all is well. x

Hello Suz and Viv. Good to see you! Thanks for popping in. :-)
Such beautiful flowers and photography! It inspires me to get out and garden!
Oh how I love clematis. And don't you love how spring flowers are so fresh? They are never so lovely as they are in spring.
We're just starting to see some bulbs open here, and flower boxes are starting to be filled up. We'll have a world in colour soon! It's a long time coming this year, I tell you! Your blog has given me beautiful reminders of what spring looks like!
Thanks Richard, it is wonderful to know I have inspired you to go and garden. :-)
Hi Jennifer, it is good to see you.
Yes, spring and its flowers are a glorious thing a pleasure to behold. When I was young I don't think I noticed Spring much, as we didn't have a garden. In fact this is the only 'real garden' I have ever had, and because I am surrounded with nature outside my windows, I 'see' it all with such appreciation. Hmmm Perhaps that is why?
Thanks for the food for thought and just think, you have all that colour to look forward to! x
