. . . and the skies went on forever. . .

"Sky blue against white cloud piled high on the horizon like mountain peaks.
...and the rushing breeze lifts and plays in my hair." - My Name is ZING

"If you do not raise your eyes you will think
that you are the highest point." - Antonio Porchia

"The sky and the strong wind have moved the spirit inside me till
I am carried away trembling with joy." - Uvavnuk

"Nature is my medicine." - Sara Moss-Wolfe

"When we inhale, the air comes into the inner world.
When we exhale, the air goes out to the outer world.
The inner world is limitless, and the outer world is also limitless.
We say "inner world" or "outer world" but actually,
There is just one whole world."

We are on a hill-side and so the sky is in front of us. It has been grey lately.
But the birds are singing in the mornings and they try out a few warbles before they go to bed. So blue skies are coming.
After seeing and reading this, I will look up into the clouds more.

It must be nice to be on a hillside. We have always lived nestled in amongst trees, though just lately I have been craving wider vistas.

Good to see you Harry. Enjoy your Scotland trip. :-)

Lovely skies, Susannah. I too live on a hill-side and I miss the sky when I go away.

Beautiful photos of clouds.Your life sounds idyllic in a village in the English countryside.I imagine it to be like a backdrop for Miss Marples or Midsomer Murders:)
...contrast to village life in the outback where I spend a lot of my time...backdrop for Rough and Tumble or doing it Tough Down Under!

Rallentanda, you made me smile with the 'backdrop for midsomer murder or miss marples' - but yes I suppose that is about right. lol

I'm glad you like the cloud photos.

Good to see you, thanks for visiting. :-)

There's an Angel in the second one down.

Susannah said...

Hi David, good to see you. x

An Angel? Hmmm, ooh I can actually see a face to the left hand edge, is that what you see?

David said...

above the face @ 2 o'clock and bigger. Didn't see the face 'til you pointed it out. Glad to drop by.

Susannah said...

David, still can't see it! Though I can see two more faces in there. Maybe the resolution on your monitor is giving better detail. Oh wow, maybe I can? is it just the torso upwards?

David said...

Yes, that's it!

Susannah said...

Yippee! I got it. :-)
