I Have a Confession to Make. . .

This week I really must confess that my desk is no longer the calm and beautiful cat laden space it was when the photo was taken! It seems to have gradually morphed into a place of clutter. No room for the cats among all the encroaching things.

I searched out this photo for Pauls blog, where he asks for a photo of our work space.

In finding this photo, I realised that I have no idea how my desk has managed to become the mess it is as I sit writing this post!

So first thing tomorrow, the clutter will be gone. So that cats may safely roam my desk again! ;-)

Do you manage to keep your work space tidy? Or do creeping things take up residence?

This is the third of my new mid week posts under the title I Have a Confession to make. . .

I will be back next week with another confession. :-)

Photo Bina and Mitz on my desk.

It looks very tidy to me, Susannah. If your cats are anything like ours I'm sure they push stuff over the edge when it gets too much for them. lol

Every space I have is sacred,
And since I have kids,
~laughing~
some of that space is more cluttered than others!

My work space is pretty much always tidy. I don't like clutter and feel much more at ease when things are cleared up.

I like the idea of weekly confessions. Interesting blog topic :)

Hi Paul, yes it was tidy then! Actually our cats are surprisingly carefull, I often marvel at their ability to pick their way through objects without knocking them.

I'm glad to say I've kept my word and my desk is clear again this morning, I just have a pile of stuff on the bookshelf! lol

Hi illuminary, yes, even sacred space can get cluttered! ;-)

Jade, I think most areas of life work better without clutter, though there are those who find it comforting in some way to be surrounded by things.

I've got a confession to make, is a good topic, though I don't know how many confessions I have left! lol

Good to see you. x

It's lovely to see Bina and Mitz sharing your work space ... and the realistic lion LOL
I think you ought to do a post with pictures of all your other little creatures and their family groups, I know I'd just LOVE to see them on your blog :o)

For some reason I cannot break myself of using my workspace as a dumping ground for all things paper. Mail, bills, childrens books, coupons. I must find a new system!

Deborah, I did actually have something in the post about my realistic lion but I took it out! lol

Now you are giving away my secrets about my other 'creatures'! But that might be an idea for a future confession. ;-)

Lex, I do know what you mean, I tidied my desk this morning, I wonder how long I can keep it that way? :-)
